Daylight Saving Time in Europe will come to an end on the night between 29 and 30 October. We’ll turn our clocks one hour back, giving you one extra hour on Sunday morning. We encourage you to use that hour to join us for our 9:30 am Bible study classes!
As Rome Baptist will be hosting the IBC Annual Convention this week (24-27 October), the following weekday activities will not take place:
- Bible Study Fellowship on Monday
- English Classes on Tuesday
- Prayer and Bible study on Wednesday
- Women’s Bible study on Thursday
All these will resume the week of 31 October.
Rome Baptist is privileged to be hosting this year’s Annual Convention Meeting of the International Baptist Convention, which will take place from Monday 24th through to Thursday 27th October.
The public is welcome to attend the evening sessions (Monday-Wednesday, 6:30-8:00PM) which shall be comprised of congregational singing and teaching. The speaker for the three days shall be Alistair Brown, president of Northern Theological Seminary in Chicago.

A group of Chinese opera singers shall be presenting a concert here at Rome Baptist on Wednesday 5th October at 8:00PM. Everyone is welcome to attend!
All interested ladies and school age children are invite to Bible Study Fellowship which will resume on Monday 26 September, 18.30-20.30 in the sanctuary. Mothers may also come with young infants (i.e. babies not yet walking or crawling). We’ll study the book of Acts.
The next session of English classes will start on September 20, 2011 at 6:30 pm. These are free and no registration is required.
If you’d like to help with teaching, please contact the church office. You don’t need any qualifications other than the ability to speak English well!
The women’s group that meets at Rome Baptist will begin a study of the book of Genesis on Thursday, September 15 starting at 10 am. Bring a Bible and something to take notes with. Childcare will be provided.
All women are welcome to join us, whether members/attendees of Rome Baptist or not!
