Summer in Rome means taking a break, since it's too hot to carry on, anyway! Here's a list of activities that will resume in September:

Bible Study Fellowship

The next study, The Life of Moses, will begin on September 15th 2008. The study is aimed at women and children (ages 7-17).

Free English Classes

The free English classes are now on a break, and will resume in September. A big thank you to the teachers for offering their time and talent!

Lunchtime Bible study

This study meets on Wednesday at 1:15pm, on the 2nd floor. Feel free to bring your lunch and join us studying the book of Romans!

Bible study in Italian

Every Wednesday evening at 8:30pm, there is a Bible study in Italian. It is held in the church sanctuary.

Alpha Course in Italian

Another session of the Alpha Course in Italian will begin in September. The theme is Christianity: False, boring or irrelevant?. You can send an email to roma@corsoalpha.it, or call 328-481 5167 for more information. It is free, and all Italian speakers are welcome to join!

Women's Bible Study

There are two women's Bible studies that meet on Thursday mornings at 10:00am. Both groups are currently on a summer break and will resume in September.

One group meets on the second floor of the church building, and will begin A Heart Like His, by Beth Moore in September. Childcare is provided.If you would like to join this study, please contact Cathy Hodgdon.

A second Bible Study meets in the Cassia area (northern Rome). If you would like to attend this study, please contact Carolyn Grosso at 06 3036 1525 or Sandy Duranti at 06 3326 7386.

Celebrate Recovery

Celebrate Recovery meets on Friday evenings starting from 7:00pm (see below).The next meeting will be held in September.
This is a ministry that helps us receive and celebrate God's spiritual healing. By applying the principles of the Sermon on the Mount, we can be set free from destructive and dysfunctional behaviors, and begin to experience the joy, peace, freedom and serenity of an abundant life in Christ.

Ministering to the Homeless

If you would like to donate clothing items to the homeless, you can take them to St. Paul's Within the Walls (Via Napoli 58) or to the Salvation Army (Via degli Apuli 39). We are not taking these items ourselves as we have no storage space for them.

Music at RBC

If you would like to sing special music, or play an instrument(piano, guitar, flute, etc) during the worship service, even if you'll just be passing through, we would love to have you be a blessing to the congregation!
