Getting to Rome Baptist

Rome Baptist is located at Piazza San Lorenzo in Lucina 35. The piazza is located off Via del Corso which connects Piazza del Popolo and Piazza Venezia.

This area is part of Rome’s historical center, and is located near the main shopping district and various tourist attractions, such as the Pantheon and the Trevi fountain.

By car

During the week, there are restrictions on driving into the historical center. On Sundays, these restrictions are normally lifted. However, parking is easier to find if you come early (before 10am).

By public transport

Rome has a vast public transportation network of buses, trams and the underground (metropolitana or metro for short). For general information on how to use it, have a look at Transportation in Rome or Getting around Rome.

The church is located a short walk from the Spagna stop (located at the Spanish Steps) on the Red line/ Linea A. ATAC, the company that runs the buses offers a handy tool that you can use to find out which bus(es) you need to use to get to Rome Baptist.

Here’s how to use it:

Go to, and select English from the top right corner.

In the route planner box, enter your departure address followed by the destination address, in this case, the church’s address.

Clicking on ‘Submit’ will lead to a page with the information based on the day of the week and time of day you make the request. Note that timetables change in the evenings and on weekends; additionally, some routes may vary on Sundays.

You can click on ‘Change the Options’ in the top right to modify the day and time. In this example, we choose a Sunday morning.

Clicking on ‘Calculate’ gives the final result on an interactive map.
