Rome Baptist Church

Get involved

Serving is great way to get connected with others in the church! Even though you may be in Rome for only a short while, we encourage you to get involved in whatever way you can.

Nursery

A nursery is provided for on the second floor during the Sunday morning service at 10.30AM. This is aimed at children under the age of 3 so that their parents can take part in worship more fully.

Children’s Church

Children aged 3-10 years are asked to stay with their parents for the first part of the worship service. After the children’s sermon (see below), they are encouraged to go upstairs for a Bible-based program especially for them.

Children’s Sermon

During the worship service there is a special sermon of about 5-10 minutes aimed at the children (and the adults can benefit from it, too!). The children are encouraged to come to the front of the church for this.

This is a wonderful outreach tool: many of our students get to read the Bible for the first time. More teachers are always welcome- you do not need any special skills other than the ability to speak English!

Library

The RBC library has a wealth of material for adults and children in English and Italian. We welcome browsers, contributors, newcomers, old-timers, young, old and everyone in between. The library is situated on the 2nd floor of the church building.
